If you commit to using this approach you must have a very large amount of money and incredible fortitude to step away when you earn a small success. For the benefit of this story, an example buy in of $2,000 is used.
The Horn Bet numbers are surely not looked at as the "successful way to play" and the horn bet itself has a house edge of over 12 %.
All you are betting is 5 dollars on the pass line and ONE number from the horn. It does not matter if it is a "craps" or "yo" as long as you gamble it consistently. The Yo is more popular with players using this system for obvious reasons.
Buy in for $2,000 when you approach the table however put only $5.00 on the passline and one dollar on either the two, three, 11, or 12. If it wins, awesome, if it does not win press to two dollars. If it loses again, press to four dollars and continue on to $8, then to sixteen dollars and after that add a $1.00 every subsequent bet. Every time you don’t win, bet the last value plus a further dollar.
Using this system, if for example after 15 tosses, the number you selected (11) has not been thrown, you probably should march away. Although, this is what might develop.
On the tenth roll, you have a total of $126 on the table and the YO finally hits, you gain three hundred and fifteen dollars with a profit of $189. Now is a good time to go away as it’s higher than what you joined the table with.
If the YO doesn’t hit until the twentieth roll, you will have a total wager of $391 and because your current action is at $31, you gain $465 with your gain of $74.
As you can see, employing this system with just a one dollar "press," your gain becomes smaller the longer you gamble on without attaining a win. This is why you must step away once you have won or you must wager a "full press" again and then advance on with the $1.00 mark up with each roll.
